The American Heart Association (AHA) released a scientific statement in 2015 regarding the secondary prevention after coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG) [1]. Advice was given for antiplatelet therapy, antihypertensives, beta-blockers, and anti-lipids post CABG prevention. This paper reviewed adherence at single centre discharge with AHA guidelines [1] effect this had on outcomes.
